Cloud migrations and hosting
Plan and deliver moves from aging hardware to AWS or another suitable hosting environment. Review application dependencies, access, costs and recovery before a staged cutover. Lightsail can be considered when it fits the application and operating needs.
Docker and Kubernetes
Package applications with Docker and help build or maintain Kubernetes environments where they fit the workload. Include configuration, secrets, deployment workflows, updates and useful logs in the operating plan.
Applications, databases and delivery pipelines
Modernize legacy development environments, improve build and release processes, and plan Jira database moves, PostgreSQL upgrades or Oracle migrations. Check supported upgrade paths, application compatibility and a way back before changing production.
Ongoing hosting operations
Maintain the agreed servers, containers and applications. Review capacity and spending, apply planned updates, manage access and route issues to the people who can act on them.
Backups, certificates and recovery
Define what needs protection, check backup jobs and practice restoring the application. Include certificate renewal, managed PKI or PKI migrations where needed, with post-quantum readiness work scoped around the systems and products involved.

We can work in your existing cloud accounts or help you set up an appropriate environment. We agree account ownership, administrator access, billing and the handover process before work begins.
We agree the work, support hours and response responsibilities in your proposal. Work already included in another L8DT service is counted once.
