Identity readiness

The challenge

Application growth outpaces access ownership.

Each application adds another account, approval and privileged-access decision. The firm needs a lifecycle that connects its directory, application sign-in and the people authorized to approve access.

What this can include

List the applications and accounts people use. Agree who approves access, how people sign in, how emergency access works and how accounts are removed. Test those steps before a wider rollout.

What you receive

An account and application inventory, sign-in rules, setup and removal checklists, and results from the initial tests.

Engineering office segmentation

The challenge

Protect engineering systems without interrupting the work.

A broad access rule may hide a real dependency. Map required traffic and device admission before the pilot, then test both the permitted paths and the access that should be blocked.

What this can include

Map the connections engineering applications need. Agree which devices may connect, back up the settings and test changes in stages. Check that essential work still runs and unwanted access is blocked, with a plan to undo changes if needed.

What you receive

Network diagrams, an access plan, planned firewall and switch changes, rollback instructions and test results.

Nonprofit recovery readiness

The challenge

The backup is green. The recovery plan is untested.

Limited staff makes a useful recovery workflow especially important. Choose an agreed service, confirm authorized recovery access and rehearse a safe restore against the business objective.

What this can include

Choose an important service, agree how quickly it needs to return and confirm who can restore it. Rehearse recovery in a safe environment, check that people can use the recovered data and record what still needs improvement.

What you receive

Recovery priorities, assigned responsibilities, a backup review, restore-test results and a practical action list.

Certificate lifecycle planning

The challenge

Expiry reminders cover only one part of trust.

The team also needs to know who approves issuance, how revocation is published and what happens if a signer or service fails. Connect those responsibilities before choosing the monitoring and recovery workflow.

What this can include

List the certificates your services use and who looks after them. Plan how they are issued, renewed and revoked, protect the signing keys and test what applications do when a certificate becomes invalid.

What you receive

A certificate inventory, assigned responsibilities, renewal and recovery procedures, a revocation test plan and implementation priorities.
