Connectivity & Mobility
Keep your people and places connected.
Keep work moving across offices, warehouses, farms and the field. L8DT brings together cellular connectivity, business devices and ongoing management around the places your people work and the applications they need.
The challenge
A connection matters when the work depends on it.
An internet outage can stop payments, interrupt remote work or leave a site unreachable. Phones and tablets bring their own challenges as people join, change roles or leave. Plan the connection, the devices and the support together.
Choose the work you need.
Backup internet that is ready to use
Select a suitable cellular connection and compatible router, connect it to your network and test how important applications behave when the primary connection fails and returns. Review signal, data usage and power needs before relying on it.
Remote sites and cellular backhaul
Connect warehouses, farms, temporary locations and other hard-to-reach sites. Design around coverage, terrain and application needs, using cellular backhaul, VPNs and AT&T private APN services where available and appropriate.
Business phones, tablets and lines
Help with device selection, activation and line changes through your business carrier account. Keep an inventory of assigned devices and lines, review usage and support onboarding, replacements and departures.
Mobile device management
Enroll supported phones and tablets in mobile device management (MDM). Configure work applications, access and security settings, manage updates, and agree procedures for lost devices and removing work data when someone leaves.
Field-ready connectivity
Plan portable deployments using equipment such as Cradlepoint routers and Pelican cases, with batteries and power arrangements matched to the equipment and expected runtime. Check heat, charging, handling and connectivity under the intended operating conditions.
Ongoing support and monitoring
Maintain the agreed routers and device settings, track connection health and usage, and coordinate carrier support when needed. Connect monitoring to Resonance and device support to your Managed IT service where those are selected.
What you receive
- A site, device and line inventory
- A connection design and installation or enrollment plan
- Failover, application and device-management check results
- A support guide covering carrier contacts, lost devices and employee changes
Connect the ongoing work
Start with a focused project or add ongoing support. We bring monitoring, maintenance and security into one agreed service plan, with clear responsibilities and a regular review.
Check that it works for your team.
- Required applications work over the selected connection at the location.
- Backup connectivity takes over and returns to the primary connection as planned.
- A representative device receives the intended work applications and settings.
- Lost-device and employee-departure steps remove the agreed work access.
A project, an ongoing service, or both.
Per site, connection or managed device / month
Design, installation and enrollment are scoped as a project. Ongoing management follows the sites, connections or devices we support. Equipment, carrier plans and management licenses are identified alongside the L8DT service work.
Your accounts and responsibilities
We help you manage service through your business carrier accounts. We agree who owns the devices, telephone numbers and subscriptions, who can authorize changes and how support is handled.
We agree the work, support hours and response responsibilities in your proposal. Work already included in another L8DT service is counted once.
